How to Remember Phone Numbers: Increase your memory power, not your phone's

Have you ever been asked for a phone number - perhaps even your own - and without even flinching, you immediately look it up on your cell phone?

Quick – try this test. Touch dial – WITH YOUR FINGERS -  the ten most important phone numbers in your life – the numbers that you wouldn’t want to be lost in a personal or business emergency without – and the unlisted numbers that you couldn’t call information to get.

If you can’t recall all of those important-to-you numbers – then take these positive steps right now to stretch and strengthen your “mental Rolodex”:

At least once a week, physically punch in the vitally important core phone numbers.

Using only the speed dial on your phones may save you a few seconds per call, but consider this:  it gives the phone the good memory power, not you!

BLOG ON!  Please let me know what experiences you have with speed dialing and/or losing your cell phone.

Please forward this blog to as many friends and associates as you wish.  Hopefully they'll become Memory Tipsters as well.
